Cyanotype Workshops

With emphasis on the makes, of Mooner’s Makes, I host cyanotype workshops for anyone interested in learning the cyanotype process and crafting their own custom print.

The cyanotype medium has always been a passion of mine, and the elemental process is one that resonates deeply with me. It brings great joy to blend my art practice with education and community. Some of my favorite places to host these workshops are on farms where participants can pick their own botanicals, and I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with local farmers, artisans, botanists, and educators to merge an elemental art practice with other nature enthusiasts and natural crafters.

I also offer private cyanotype workshops for small parties/events. If interested in booking/learning more, please send me a message!

Community Cyanotype Collage Demo

Shewatuck Farm

Cyanotype Workshop hosted at Shewatuck Farm (North Kingstown, RI) in collaboration with Botanic Providence. Participants toured Shewatuck Farm and harvested their own botanicals with Jo-Anna Cassino, resident farmer, botanist, and owner of Botanic Providence and Flipp Salon in Providence, RI. Kim (MoonersMakes) taught them how to make their own cyanotype and guided them through a communal sun printing process, development stage, and drying stage.
